When is the shop itself open? 

The shop's opening hours are as follows.  You can always call us on 01530 272864 between these hours;

When is the shop open over the Christmas & New Year Period? 

Saturday 24th December: Open 9.00 am – 1.00 pm

Sunday 25th December: Closed

How will the deliveries be affected over Christmas? 

Normal weekday courier collections will occur up to and including Friday 23rd December.  Orders despatched via courier on Thursday 22rd December should be delivered on Friday 23rd December - although there are no guarantees, so we would advise that you dont leave Christmas presents this late... just in case!  Orders after courier collection on Friday 23rd should be despatched on Wednesday 28th December (with an 11.00 am cut off time on that day) and these should be delivered to you on Thursday 29th December.  After Friday 30th December our usual 'next day' service cuts back in from Wednesday 4th January 2017.  Any queries please give us a call.

 

As regards orderes despatched by Royal Mail then we will commit to posting these with the same timelines as for the courier service detailed above, but as you can understand, cannot commit to when these will arrive with you... as ever, we are at the mercy of the Royal Mail!

 

Do you have the stock I can see online?

All of the products listed online show you their availability.  Our systems will not allow you to add it to the basket if we do not have it in stock - which means, unlike some Angling websites, payment can only be taken for products that are in stock.  That means there's no follow up calls to say there will be a three week wait while we order it in.  If is says contact us for availability then just give us a call, or if we have the product already on order then it will give you an anticipated delivery date.  If you click on the 'notify me' button then you can get an automatic email the moment it's back in stock. 

 

Is there stock you have that doesn't show online?

We endeavor to make almost everything we have in the shop available on line, and every day when new stock arrives in the shop, it is usually online and live within a couple of hours.

 

Can you get me stock you that you don't have already?

Give us a call on 01530 272864, we've managed to get almost everything our customers have asked for so far!

 

Can I return unwanted purchases?

If you are not happy with your purchases for any reason then please call us on 01530 272864 within 7 days and we will exchange them or refund your payment when the goods are received back by us. Please also ensure you obtain a certificate of posting available free from the post office or send to us by recorded delivery so you have evidence they were posted.  Goods will be exchanged only if they have not been worn, used or otherwise soiled and are in original, undamaged packaging.

 

What happens if goods are damaged when they arrive with me?

If goods have been damaged then please inform us as soon as possible, before returning the goods.  We will exchange or offer a full refund. We reserve the right to return the goods to the manufacturer for inspection before issuing a refund. If the manufacturer deems the fault not to be of the product Redfins Angling Ltd we reserve the right not to issue a refund.

We are not obliged to accept returns where you have opened sealed audio or video recordings, or computer software.

 

I have a problem or complaint, what do I do?

In the unfortunate and rare occurrence that you have a dispute or complaint please call on 01530 272864.  This usually results in resolution in a just a minute or two.  If the resolution cannot be found quickly and simply then these should be made directly to us by email or in writing. Your dispute or complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days and we will aim to resolve it within 10 working days. You will be provided with the name of the person handling your complaint at the time of acknowledgement.

 

How long will delivery take?
Items ordered on any normal business day (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays will usually be delivered within 2 business days (excluding Saturday), anytime up to 5.30pm. Our standard delivery charge does not guarantee next day delivery, however every effort is made by ourselves & the couriers to achieve this, and we usually do.  If your items are being shipped by courier then we can also let you have the tracking number for you to follow the progress of your purchases.

Redfins Angling relies upon the services UK and international third party couriers, and whilst we endeavor to ‘keep to our word’ there are unfortunately a few occasions when the couriers fail to perform the service that they are requested to. This happens rarely, but because it does occur, albeit occasionally, we cannot be held responsible for the late delivery of an item. For the avoidance of doubt Redfins Angling will not refund the standard delivery charge if the courier has failed to deliver the item(s) on the anticipated delivery date.

If you have purchased small item(s) and chosen the 'In an A5 Jiffy Bag' shipping method or you have purchased Gift Vouchers then these are shipped using Royal Mail standard post and will usually take 2-3 days.

International shipping and certain 'remote' UK areas such as the Scottish Highlands, will take longer.  If delivery timescales are crucial to you please contact the store in advance of your purchase or enter a note at checkout and we will let you know when you can anticipate your purchases arriving with you.  

 

How much will Postage and Packing Cost? (UK Customers)

Gift Vouchers are all sent royal Mail postage Free.  All orders over £50 will be sent free of charge.  All other normal orders will cost £4.99.  These are sent using major '24 hour delivery service' couriers - Please note that the courier service is for a Monday to Friday delivery, if you require a Saturday delivery this can also be organised for an additional fee of £15.

If your purchases will fit in an A5 Jiffy Bag and you select this shipping method at checkout the delivery cost is only £3.90. 

From time to time Redfins Angling may promote products with free postage, if additional non promotional items are purchased at the same time as long as the total weight doesn’t exceed 15 KG's the whole order will remain Postage FREE.

Please note that we do not deduct VAT for any orders to the Channel Islands.

 

What to do if there is a problem with the delivery
If the parcel does not arrive when you expect it then please don't hesitate to give us a call on +44 (0)1530 272864. We will contact the delivery agent and call you back to let you know what's happening.
